Congress didn't impeach Bush so they're unpopular. Of course the rightwing doesn't like a Dem congress, then add 75% of Dems who wanted our new congress to stop the Bush corruption and madness in its tracks and send the perps to prison.

They didn't stop the war funding so they're unpopular. They didn't put Cheney in jail so they're unpopular.

I admit they've been a disappointment but they really don't have enough votes to do any of the above since they have slim majorities and certain dems live in very conservative districts or are pro-war themselves. We do have a few pro war democrats. Just enough to keep us from stopping the madness in Iraq.

The ones to blame are the GOP moderates who know damn well it's madness but refuse to stop it for partisan reasons. Except for Hagel they haven't shown any balls. Cheney should have been sent to prison years ago.

But this next election may give Dems 60% majorities. Then they can act, and act retroactively against Bushies since the statutes of limitations will not be up. In fact once Bush is a citizen again he can be prosecuted.
