The common wisdom is that the democratic party is more favorable to blacks than the republican party but there have been periods where dem controlled the white house and/or the congress, if the dems are in fact more favorable then why high rate of incarceration amoung young black men high rate of out of wedlock child birth higher unemployment rate than whites fewer college degrees earnings aren't up to par with the majority violence in black communities Imo the probable truth is that there are limits to what can be accomplished through governments, have to look elsewhere, neither party will do much to change the circumstances of the black community because they literally can't. Talkin about birthin' babies and pandering doesn't really do anyone any good.
