My letter to the Intuit CEO produced an E-mail response with a link to a page that said:

Current Quotes download issues
Answer

Quicken is currently experiencing issues downloading stock information.

We are experiencing the following issues:

1. Quotes are not updating from two indexes - Dow Jones and NASDAQ.
2. Historical prices for all securities are not downloading for all securities for January 16, 18, and 22, 2008.
3. Quotes are not downloading for certain Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) securities.
4. Some data, such as year-to-date (YTD) return, is not downloading correctly.

We have resolved the following issues:

1. Current quotes not being updated - Resolved January 22, 2008.
2. Mutual funds not downloading - Resolved January 22, 2008.
3. News icons not appearing - Resolved January 22, 2008.
4. Mutual fund prices not downloading for January 25, 2008 - Resolved January 26, 2008.
5. Quote values of 10 times the actual price for Canadian versions of Quicken - Resolved January 26, 2008.
6. Quotes for most EFT securities reported as not correct - Resolved January 28, 2008.

Intuit understands that these are important issues. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve them.
