What does "progressive discussion" mean?

You asked questions, I answered them. You raised issues, I responded to them. If you like details rather then broad conclusions perhaps you should start with providing some. I'd start with answering Lane3's question about why it matters so much if someone has an apolitical period during his life. I'd also ask why you think he even had such an apolitical period, but I think the first question is more important.
