I cannot explain why we have so many different laptops models and pc mftrs around. Let's just say that the company is so, so big that it is easy for individual organizations to get capital budgets approved with non-standard equipment. And no, we are not Japanese owned, but the Japanese are responsible for a considerable portion of our commercial revenues. Our servers are NT servers. Thanks for the other info as well.
