OK, but your original post made an implied demand that unless people met some kind of political activist criteria, they weren't to be given credence by you. It seemed to come out of nowhere with no provocation.
Since I find most people here to offer well-considered views, it seemed a strange requirement. Plenty of people read, analyze, consider, and just because they aren't at their local headquarters making those terrible unwanted phone calls during the dinner hour, they aren't disqualified from having legitimate opinions.
That said, I think you have a valid point about all talk, no action. If we REALLY care, then why aren't we out there on the front lines?
Still, that's a personal kind of decision, and one that doesn't require advertising. It may influence how you personally judge a poster's opinion, but the lack of this shouldn't automatically make someone's opinion less valid. |
