Brian, The 0.25um P/MMX draws 4 watts; the 0.25um K6 dissipates 8 watts; the 0.25um P-II consumes 8 watts of power. Why are you so overjoyed over this picture as a die-hard AMD investor? If the 8 watt of power dissipation is not acceptable among notebook computers, then so be it. 0.25um P/MMX would shut the market out of 0.25um K6! One giant nail on the coffin of K6. Dasvidanya!
