I've always been a conservative, but lately, it seems as though my party is abandoning me.
I find your comment haunting, and also all too familiar... when I was younger, I was a democrat, I voted that way all across the board... but as I became wiser and matured, it seemed that the democrats drifted further and further to the left, I felt abandoned, that's the very word I used, I eventually changed my political perspectives to the more conservative side... but now, I'm beginning to feel the same thing again, that even conservative thinking has drifted more and more to the left... I know it's not just me, I'm willing to bet that there are many millions of Americans who feel the exact same way... kinda spooky if you ask me...<g>
