Just heard about a program here WA where the PUD will give you major kick backs if you use solar panels made in WA. Small problem, I guess there isn't a manufacturer that is actually able to produce, yet. But, I am sure there will be. There's a business idea for someone out there with the know how. My Dad bought a couple hundred acres in sunny north central WA. I've got him excited to build with extensive solar systems. He isn't going off grid, he wants the power for resale value, and likes the idea of selling power back to the PUD. I have hooked him up with an architect buddy that specializes in green architecture...
