nominates liberally oriented justices like RR did - Kennedy and O'Conner. Yes, he did appoint those two. Course he also appointed Scalia. A lot of appointments by Republican Presidents have turned out to be not so conservative: Ford - Stevens Reagan - Scalia, O'Conner, Kennedy Bush I - Souter, Thomas Clinton - Ginsburg, Breyer Bush II - Alito, Roberts One good thing - Roberts, Alito, Thomas are all still in their 50's. They'll be around another generation.
