Supreme Court justices - the two most liberal justices aren't going to last 4 more years - Ginsburg (74) & Stevens (87). You can count on Hillary to appoint leftwingers. McCain - there is at least a chance he may appoint a conservative.

Obviously, a conservative or even a moderate (more likely choice if the Dems keep the Senate) would be better than a liberal justice. However, if a liberal justice is replaced by a liberal justice, and Kennedy stays on the court, then the current complexion of the court is likely to continue for some time.
