I don't listen to Rush, but I do to Hugh Hewitt, who daily calls McCain "a great American, a lousy Senator, and a terrible Republican." He is still imploring conservatives to vote for his man Romney. But if McCain is nominated, he says he will support him. When asked how he can do so when he has spent so much time blasting him, he lists the names and ages of 6 oldest sitting Supreme Court judges. End of sales pitch, he says. Would a conservative rather have John McCain or Hillary Clinton picking the next court?
