CEF.A rose 30% since last July. Six months @ 30% is a bit better than 1% per annum at the bank. Yes the government will probably end up with the gold but then they also can tax you out of your home, raid your possessions, freeze yer bank accounts and do anything else they damn well please by moving the goal posts of law with or without your vote. Gold in deep storage would be nice and preferable but may not be as practical for a great many people. Gold and silver discovery plays are very exciting to hold but in truth it's an insiders game more than anything else.
