Here are the problems with your philosophy, which, thankfully, the voters have already recognized:
1. The solutions are generally too big for corporations. Also, corporations do practically zero basic research. Out of necessity, they must have an eye to a future profit.
2. Lower taxes basically benefit the wealthy and the corporations. Lower govt. spending basically disadvantages the middle and lower classes. Geez, it's not like the gap isn't already huge and growing every year without a turboboost from these class warfare ideas.
3. Pro America. If businesses are good citizens, pro them, too, as Americans.
4. No, Conservatives want the court to legislate THEIR agenda. The conservative justices appointed by Bush have approved of dismantling a lot of The Bill of Rights.
5. If you are willing to be stoned for violating the Sabbath (different days of the week for Jews ((and 7th Day Adventist and Ebionites)), Paulian Christians and Muslims. Yippee, stoning 3 days a week, no waiting) by mowing your lawn or picking a tomato from your garden, killed for eating pork or shrimp and required to observe a six day work week of dawn to dusk, have at it. I'd just as soon not.
6. Liberals also want a strong military. But used judiciously, not recklessly.
7. Our last liberal President made the money sound. Our recent neo conservative President has devalued it, tremendously.
8. Agreed, assuming other countries observe environmental regulations and things like child labor laws.
9. Genocide is an exception. If we don't help other people, what the hell good are we? |
