What makes it extra funny is that --- as national polls have fairly consistently shown for more then a year now --- McCain is the only one of the GOP candidates who runs *ahead* of Hillary and or Obama in head-to-head match-ups. :-)

(The other two test out as landslide flops....)

So, it seems the 'base' is intent on shooting holes in their own ship. <GGG>
