If I could just figure a cheap way to go solar. My fear is that once I commit to some system and start getting it installed, a new super duper technology will displace it and I'll be stuck. It appears that the solar technology is changing fast.

Yah, and what are the chances it would be compatible? So you could upgrade and use the same basic components? I've been hearing about nano solar. It's supposed to work really well, but it's brand new (I think).
