Rink, Intel + Micron develop high speed NAND The Inquirer missed the key, which is interface. It is not a memory breakthrough, just an improvement in interface. Intel and Micron must have done some creative things on the inside of the chips as well (in addition to the interface improvement), and I would be curious what those things are. Somehow, I doubt they improved the performance of the flash cell by 400%... Intel, Micron tip NAND interface breakthrough eetimes.com Joe
