I can repeat a joke one geologist told me on his way to South America: Did you know there is a new cereal called Bre-X? All fiber... But lacking the essential minerals. Ooh that joke was baad! But I think it typifies investors concerns with these gold companies, especially the small speculative companies. I have read that Vista Gold, to its credit, has stong technical management. I would not classify Vista Gold as a small speculative company but it has suffered due to the Bre-X fraud, the tanking of gold prices, large investors dumping the shares, an aforementioned newsletter editor with a large following who at one moment loved the stock, then the next unceremoniously dumped it. I will continue my research up here in Vancouver, B.C. to answer your excellent question. But unless or until I find a valid reason for this stock to be this overly depressed, I am an enthusiastic buyer at 7/16s or better. I do think a floor has been reached at 7/16s. At least that's what it looks like on the charts.
