I certainly am no big fan of Hillary Clinton, and during her tenure as First Lady she displayed bad management style and a political tin ear to boot.

But some of this criticism is over the top. It's normal for new presidents to bring in their circle of friends and advisors, and for some of them to not work out. It's also normal to have appointments, like Lani Gunier (who is a leftist but not a crazy one imo) nixed for ideological reasons in confirmation.

It would make more sense to concentrate on those episodes that really are out of the ordinary, like the Travel Office fiasco and the whole Health Care thing.
