During the debate the other night, he repeatedly insisted that Romney called for a timetable for withdrawal, which Romney denied. When presented with Romney's exact quote by one of the panelists, which clearly showed he hadn't, McCain just dug himself deeper into his position by parsing the word 'timetable' and jumping to a different point in time accusing Romney of not supporting the surge.

The accusation was a bald faced lie and McCain knew it. Yet he continued to parrot it over and over.

This little episode showed a petty unstable man, who is willing to blatantly sacrifice facts for his own "truth". As president, that would be dangerous for our country.
