Snipes was acquitted by a jury. Unless there is some procedural error, neither side has any grounds for an appeal. I suppose Snipes could contend the law is unconstitutional and appeal that way, but the press release sounds like he's not going to.

He still got hit with what the IRS wants, for all Americans to file returns. So the IRS won the war, but without inflicting as much damage as they had hoped. So the IRS will likely do nothing.
