Or should I say it has become the American way. Some are quick to point out that the US will loose its AAA. We will if we are forced to carry the garbage on our backs - kind of the way that the Japanese wouldn't take out a knife and cut off a gangrenous limb. I don't know what Japan's difficulty was. Betraying college buddies??? Our problem is democracy, wherein the politicians think they have a right to continue to buy office by transferring wealth from the relatively small voting pool of the wealthy to the large voting pool of the subprime screwballs.
