@Petz - Fujitsu I don't know japanese law, but AMD didn't wrote down something related to SPSN. They have an SPSN asset item in the P&L statement which is valued at the last day of the quarter. So yes, if Fujitsu does the same, this value is of course down. Whether they have to write down it officially is unknown for me. BTW: SPSN did again a good job in selling JV1/2 assets to Fujitsu, which should be relativly worthless now. Its again unknown for us, how many old chips has to buy from Fujitsu, but if these numbers aren't written down in a fixed contract, I would guess these units tend to go to near zero. If Fujitsu is also entering some type of (slow?) NOR exit I would say, one more, which is always good. The writedown could be related to a potential "IPO", thats the same, what Intel and STM already did. If these unit has to operate also seperatly, this would be one of the latest companies which have big "mothers". If Newco is finally in place, only Samsung has some type of "Big daddy". Again, interesting times ...
