You need to buy the 10 CD course for a starter. It's about $55 + tax. The 2 CD "teaser" is the same as the first 2 out of the 10 CD set so don't buy it. At the same time, may I recommend to order "Italian in 32 Lessons" by Adrienne. A good basic general text reference and visualisation companion. I transferred all 10 CDs to MP3 and just let it run rather than chopping it up as recommended. Of course that means you lose a lot at the beginning but as you get familiar with the course you'll be able to use the time slots in between for your own phrases. Taro
