Of course Intel is a monopoly. Then what the hell is AMD doing getting Gateway design wins?? At one time Intel had a market share of about 90% Irrelevant to today's environment. Intel clearly ceased to be a monopoly(if they ever were) with the success of the K8. Gloo I believe my remarks are fair and pretty balanced. I have made almost 350 posts and no one yet has put me on their ignore list. Ypo on the other hand have less than 150 posts and are ignored by 8 people. I believe that an indicator that more people that read the board respect my opinion more than yours If you think your posting of the New York Slimes trash piece on Intel leaving OLPC was fair and balanced, then you must be a big fan of FOX NEWS. AMD followers need to be constantly reassured and hate anyone breaking the harsh realities of this world to them, thus they reach for the ignore button as a mental crutch. Intel supporters are much more even handed emotionally, so don't feel the need to put AMD boosters on ignore.
