It reminds me of the commercials showing Bob Beaman rooting for Carl Lewis to break his long jump record. When he didn't, ol' Bob was beaming ear to ear. His 1968 record held until 1991 in Tokyo. Don Shula is a bit of a sorehead, anyway, as are most successful football coaches. Sore losers and obnoxious winners are equally despised.
