John,

I used to play golf with a Doc and he was the one that convinced me that the only solution was single payer. He wasn't particularly happy about it... but he was a realist. And eventually that is where we will HAVE to go.

Doctors are part of the sickness industry, and thier industry is making people sicker (through oversubscribtion of artificial patented substances).

Doctors with their prescriptions are 3rd or 4th leading cause of death in this country (depending on who is counting).

Each additional dollar that is ut into this sickness industry is a dollar wasted.

BTW, your buddy Doc has a wested interest in guaranteed and ever increasing stream of money going into his pocket.

maybe the '08 election will help.

Yeah right. The last time I checked, Ron Paul was at 5%. He is the only person who brings up the fact that health and well being is a personal responsibility, not something you offload (or outsourced) from:

#1: you

to

#2 your Doc
#3 Big Pharma
#4 Big Insurance
#5 Big Government

The most effective solutions are closest to #1, the further out you go, the less effective the solutions are. (And I am extremely generous by calling #3 to #5 solutions. They are in fact part of the problem)

Joe
