It's hard to get good help, and expensive. Makasa probably realized to stay in business they just had to close the stores and outlets...Their quality was pretty good, and their prices pretty reasonable. Just another example of how the job market is changing. I'm continually amazed that the unemployment rate is as low as it is!!!! Today I think it dropped to 4.9% from 5%... When I was recruiting, we were pretty sure that the lowest it would ever be would be about 7%.... GWB has had great people helping in the economy since 9-11! We could be in much worse shape, by a long way. Think Jimmy Carter. Now THAT was bad!
