A good piece albeit from a very partisan prism.

Partisan is right! When he says,

Conservatives have long believed that the Clintons are an unprincipled pair who will destroy those who stand between them and power -- whether they are political opponents, women from Bill Clinton's past or independent counsels.

I have to cringe. As if the Clinton's "destroyed... independent counsels." Poor little Starr-boy. As if they weren't themselves attacked relantlessly. And we, nationally, only came in on the second act of the attack machine against them.

I can't say I was ever all that enthusiastic about WJC. But compared to Nixon, Reagan, and the Bushes and their teams, he and his team were far from "unprincipled" attack dogs. Unless, of course, Wehner wants to say that the others were principled attack dogs, and therefore not hypocritical.

And the guy "is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center," lol.
