Bob, I happened to be talking Friday to an American who has a drilling Co. in western KAZ because I have an interest in the situation there with AIPN shares. He informed me of some of the technical details regarding the Karakaduk and Uzen fields. During the course of the conversation, he mentioned CHAR and said if they got financing, this would be a stock he would buy. After that , I checked the chart and felt something was going on, so I called the Co. to inquire at the same # you quoted. This is a shell Co. in the USA only with most employees in KAZ and drilling about to start. I spoke with Charles Karren who identified himself as VP; then before the close Friday purchased shares. Forget the past, this is a totally new Co. Who knows, the # may be there home in Houston. Regards, Anyer
