I respectfully disagree. Equity investing is a long term affair, and monthly returns don't have much meaning. Short term folks really shouldn't be in the game.

On the other hand, Mutual Funds seem to track quarterly and annual returns, so I think this is a little more reasonable. And I don't think such information should be contained in the Newsletter itself, but rather on a website which is available to everyone. Check out how Vanguard lists their returns on their site. They do a bang up job. Of course, they are a MF company and not a newsletter outfit, so it's a little apples to oranges.
