If Obama is the man everybody claims he is, I would think that he would help minimize this if Hillary gets the nomination by continuing to campaign. I would expect that conversely, if Obama got the nod, that Hillary would do her best to minimize any of her supporters going to the other side or staying home. If the person you want doesn't get the nomination, the main thing then becomes to retake the white house and keep the republicans out.
