Your main point is that you are so complacent in gold that you don't want to take a profit. Go ahead and let it roll over so you can buy more. That doesn't seem like a very opportunistic approach. It's rather amusing to see how emotional people get in an asset that is so extended. I heard the same thing about GOOG on the way up.

I am looking at some positions in coal. They have been in the news every day for the past week. Pricing looks much stronger for the next 2 years.
