Whether it was Obama or a guy at a diner, I wouldn't imagine seeing it any other way myself. But I grew up down your way and was raised with similar customs.

As for media coverage, I don't remember the media being accused of bias when they proclaimed Hillary the inevitable frontrunner running the perfect campaign last fall, and McCain was a failed afterthought.

Then Hillary started to do worse and McCain did better, the story line today.
