Dale, just an observation here.

Obama seems to be nailing the 'manly' states....Alaska, Utah, North Dakota, Colorado, Minnesota, and Idaho.

Clinton's 'manly' states are New Mexico and Arizona which have larger Hispanic populations.

I don't know what to make of Oklahoma, which I see as a 'manly' state. It's solidly in Hillary's column, but I don't have a guess as to why. It neighbors Arkansas, home of the Clintons, but the two cultures are very different.

Obama's huge leads in Idaho and Utah, which have big Mormon populations, intrigues me too.

The fact that home prices are holding up relatively well in Idaho and Utah might be a factor.
