I believe you have some embedded image in your post, but I can't see it. As for "in the US we subsidize oil to a huge extent" That isn't really an accurate statement. The taxes on gas and diesel don't just get spent on roads, a large portion of them gets spent on mass transit. As for military expenditures, there isn't any direct one for one connection between them and oil costs.
