mindmeld, Rumsfeld had one idea right. We should be moving to a very high tech, very mobile armed forces. More marines, less Army. I agree, but the problem was that the US got involved in a low tech protracted conventional war, and Rumsfeld did not make any adjustments for that. Without Iraq war, Rumsfeld would have looked like a genius, but now he is an outcast. Joe
