Another thought while watching the returns.
Georgia- heavy Obama.
What struck me about these results, though, was that Obama did not do well with the over 60s. He did great with younger, but also with the 40-59- which means his appeal isn't just to the MTV generation.

Is it just coincidence that that age break falls so perfectly along the Civil Rights years? I am 59, and was right in the middle of the Civil Rights movement in the south. We may be seeing not a geographical difference as much as an age one.
