lots of talk about what's going to happen. very little talk here about what to save money for (aside from gold and some home builder shorts).

just sayin...

I'm saving my kitty for a killer idea and one hasn't appeared to me yet. I'd love to pick up a few commercial properties (2 to 5 mil in total, probably strip malls or something with many renters, no residential) but I think I'm a few years too soon. Aside from that, I don't have many ideas but I know we are starting to get to bargain huntin season on some stocks and Ben Graham would love what's happening.

I did put a chunk into BRK and Fairholme but mostly cash waiting. My preference would be to get a minorly passive income of around 200-220k per year before taxes (either I'm bigtime or small time depending on I guess where the individual is at) but I haven't seen the silver 200k bullet yet.

Anyone have any thoughts?
