You must believe that Jimmy Carter was the BEST President ever.

Carter was probably the most honest and straightforward President we've had.

FDR would "go for the throat" against his political apponents.

JFK let his Father and his Brother do the DIRTY work.

Ronald Reagan used the old "States Rights" gambit to 'divide and conquer' in the South.

Adlai Stevenson and George McGovern were both honest and pleasant political candidates. Check out how many elections they won of the 3 that they ran.

I've come to think that Obama may very well be the BEST candidate that the Democrats can nominate. That's NOT because I think he has the BEST tools to bring about effective policies, but because I think that he could be such a popular candidate that he could very well give the Democrats such an overwhelming legislative advantage that they could have the political power to REALLY accomplish great things if they wisely use that power.

At this point I think we're doing rather well in having our probable Presidential possibilities narrowed to McCain, Obama and Clinton.

At least that CREEP Romney seems to be out of the running.
