Not ready to do a review yet... but John wrote an article for ABC News a couple of days ago, with 12 "irreligeous questions" to candidates, which I found to be interesting - to the point that I took the trouble of registering with ABC, and posted a comment. I am "skierdoc" - since "skinowski" was "unavailable" -g. Also, if anyone wants to comment on their site, be warned that they lump the entire post into a single paragraph, and there is no reviewing or editing allowed.

John, Excellent article, and your questions are valid and superbly formulated. Every Presidential candidate should be able to comment on those subjects. Wouldn’t be surprised if the questions you posed will be studied by candidates in the future prior to debates. However, I would like to bring to your attention that often - I would even say, typically - there is more suspicion and hostility on the part of atheists towards the believers than the other way around. Also, the greatest wars and bloodsheds of the last century were perpetuated by people of atheistic persuasions -- the National Socialists (Nazis) of Germany, and the “International” Socialists in the USSR, led by Lenin and Stalin. Could it be that as traditional religions learned to coexist peacefully - radical Islam being a current exception - secular quasi-religions have become the greatest danger?A.
