Bill; One problem with Wintels in a retail environment is the ability of kibitzers to edit varous reg files, format hard drives, etc as that can easily be done if the machine is not watched. As a store owner I know of this problem first hand. I suspect that the Apples make it harder for goofs to meddle. We would often password the machines, but then we would catch kids coming in, booting the machine, entering the setup to boot from A; and formatting from there. We finally used keyboard and slot locks and placed the machines on perma demo.
Is Apple more secure from this type of aggravation??
