"Who's fault is it that more solid conservatives did not run?

Not media's fault, and certainly not McCain's fault."

I have to disagree. The media elite boost up weak liberal Republicans for two reasons. If a Republican has to win they prefer them to be liberal and weak. They want to avoid at any cost another true conservative President.

McCain is not to blame, he is simply the Bob Dole of 2008, it is his turn. With the work that the liberal media has done to boost McCain he has gained. They have worked hard to boost Senator CLinton and lately to aid Senator Obama. Presumably they assume there will be a Obama Clinton or Clinton Obama campaign and their efforts to boost both will reap benefits for democrats.

What I find fascinating is how many people are willing to allow the liberal media to continue to spoon feed them liberal spin instead of news.

The reason more good people don't run is because politics has become personally destructive and very expensive.
