Solar Ovonics sells shingles with integrated Thin Film Photovoltaics. The term for this is BIPV (Building Integrated PhotoVoltaics). Their factory is 5 miles from me and they did a project with a University I am attending. Here is an article with a picture but the picture is fairly poor quality. In reality the roof looks pretty cool.

The roof is a few years old and the technology is moving fast so the new shingles are probably even more powerful.

In the unlikely event you are wondering how I know this much, they are the reason I am back in school. I am getting an advanced degree so I can work in the solar energy field, hopefully with this company.
