I have loose ankles. Sometimes I'll be walking down the street, and the next thing I know I'm catching my fall on my palms. I took to walking with a walking stick, but that interferes with my gate. I got Z-Coil shoes, and they helped. I cut my falling down to 2-3 times a year. For a guy who spent his life in the woods, it's a bitter pill. I can still get out there. It's the streets that get me. Z=coils aren't compatible with the woods.
