This is big. The clintons have money but are not the mccains. I am certain that the idea is to repay them when new money comes in but if barack continues to be a money machine and the race remains close, clintons might blink first.
Earlier in the day i said hillary is the incumbent and wins in case of a tie. This changes everything. Money talks!

And the ironic thing is that it just might have been bill in SC that dried things up. I was in a restarant in princeton tonite and at the next table was a very famous author holding court at a table of 8. They were all talking excitedly about obama. Talk of the town. There is something unfair about hillary going down this way, given her years of service and committment and the fact that she would have been the first women pres. But if she loses, it will be her lack of judgement in her marriage, allowing the Bill in SC stuff, and her treatment of people as First Lady that will ultimately do her in. Politics is tough stuff. I still think obama needs someone in the middle as Veep that will offset McCain. How about Jim Webb? White military guy, fiercely anti-bush and anti iraq war, but not a soft leftee one worlder either.
