Had he more time, Romney would have been a shoo in.
Romney had all the time in the world. He spent months and months in lead in Iowa and NH. We was well received. Then, Huckabee appeared, Romney went heavily negative and sunk both in Iowa and NH.
Mitt has the charm, the wit, the business background, the political savy, running a lib state as a republican and of course his good All American good looks.
I agree about the looks and his ability to be charming, but it was completely mis-applied when he went on attack, and it backfired.
