ACII Management / Perspective

I found this post on another board. I thought it might be relevant & appropriate to repost here in light of some of the comments I have seen lately on this board.

More thoughts to live by.....When I see otherwise intelligent posters bashing management for failure to do a deal etc, I take it as statements of frustration....No one knows or should know what is going on, except management. Keep in mind:
1. These are really smart people.
2. They, unlike we investors who are sitting back watching, are in the game and have devoted their knowledge and professional lives to the success of this venture..They have much more to lose than money...they can lose all their efforts and time (not to mention opportunities lost). Of course, they are paid, but a good salary is available in many companies for real talent.
3. These are really smart people.

Now with that said, how smart are they? Comparatively in fairness that poster was referring to people in the biotech sector. But nevertheless I like the comment that, just maybe thier efforts are to be appreciated because talented people can find good jobs elsewhere. The fact that they are putting that effort into ACII is compelling to me.
