Maybe, but Obama has gotten a lot of people turned on politically who wouldn't be voting otherwise - the black turnout has to be up substantially, plus supposedly lots of young people are supposed to be excitedly voting for the first time.

What will those folks do if Obama isn't heading up the ticket? I don't think they're gonna transfer their excitement to Hillary.

What if Obama gets the nomination? He'll have big turnouts from his supporters but will traditional Democratic voters - blue-collar, women - be enthused about Obama? I think maybe not.

Now if somehow Hillary and Obama unite on a ticket, that will be bad for Republicans.
