Rat, could you look at Backup Fig 2 (last page) in the Wegman report and I'd like to see what your take on it is.

It is not discussed directly in the body of the report, but it is clearly backup for graph 5, and the discussion is on the top of page 6. They imply that they have 69 series of noise, and one series of signal (digitized from the IPCC 1990 temp curve). The problem I have is why in Backup Fig 2, I don't see nearly 69 noise dots for each of the time slots they digitized on Backup Figure 1.

But more importantly, why are the 70 (69??) samples of white noise following the temp signal?
